A corner, not an endpoint
Aguadilla is where two coastal patterns meet the interior, so its referral directions do not reduce to near or far.
Someone may come from Isabela along the north, from Moca or San Sebastián out of the hills, or from Aguada and Mayagüez to the south. Coastal conditions, local power, telecommunications, and scheduled maintenance are separate problems with separate responses.

Which systems are in place, which modalities are in scope, where reports need to go, who owns each handoff, and what currently happens when the usual path is unavailable. Why mention two coasts and the interior?
Because Aguadilla is where they meet. Referral and staffing directions vary accordingly, and a plan that assumes one direction will be wrong about the others.
Can remote reading replace an imaging location?
No. An appropriate local site still acquires the exam and cares for the patient. Remote reading concerns interpretation only.
Can several area senders use one destination?
Potentially, after each sender, authorization, study label, report route, and exception process is separately configured and tested.
How does the reader know where a study originated?
From approved clinical metadata and routing configuration. This public website plays no part in that identification and never will.
Does the airport change anything for an imaging site?
Mostly it means some patients are not staying. Release routes for a recipient outside the usual network should be decided in advance rather than at the counter.
