Public website privacy

Public website privacy, separate from clinical records

This is a public-website notice, not a clinical Notice of Privacy Practices and not a statement about any facility’s handling of protected health information. This static site has no analytics, advertising pixel, chat widget, third-party form service, embedded map, external font request, patient portal, or image uploader. It stores a color-theme preference in your browser and keeps contact-helper selections and generated text on your device.

At a glance

What this site does not collect

  1. The site code does not collect patient information or contact-form submissions.
  2. No analytics, advertising, chat, third-party form, or external font service is configured.
  3. The browser stores only the selected theme mode under the key dla-theme.
  4. Hosting infrastructure may create standard access and security logs according to the chosen provider’s settings.
01

What information does the site code store?

The site stores one local browser preference named dla-theme, with a value for light or dark appearance. It does not create an account, cookie profile, advertising identifier, clinical record, contact database, or server-side form submission.

You can remove the preference by clearing site data in your browser. The site uses the light theme by default.

No analytics or consent banner appears because no optional tracking is configured.

02

What happens to contact-helper text?

The contact helper validates fixed selections and assembles a brief in your browser, then attempts to copy it to the clipboard. The site code does not transmit, store, email, or analyze the selections or generated brief. It is a private planning tool, not a message form.

The helper has no free-text field or upload. Do not move patient, study, report, diagnosis, legal-case, credential, contract, pricing, procurement, or security-sensitive information into any public website workflow.

Your browser and device may expose clipboard or page-state behavior outside DLA’s control.

03

What may the hosting provider process?

Website hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request metadata such as IP address, timestamp, requested path, browser information, security events, and cache logs. The provider’s configuration and privacy terms govern retention, location, and administrative access.

This website does not use its own analytics or advertising layer to profile visitors.

No hosting statement should imply that standard infrastructure logs contain clinical records submitted through this site; clinical submission is prohibited.

04

What should never be submitted?

Never submit a patient name, date of birth, record number, image, report, diagnosis, symptom, order, claim detail, or other clinical information. Existing clinical work must use the approved facility system; patients use the records process supplied by the imaging facility or ordering care team.

External links, if present in educational sources, lead to sites with their own privacy practices.

This notice should be updated if the site adds analytics, a submission endpoint, a new integration, or another material data practice.
